Me in 7 photos
These are the 2 people that mean the most to me. I am an only child so my parents and I are more like friends than anything else. They are imitating Jack and Rose from Titanic, by the way.
This is a shot of Fort Lauderdale, FL, my hometown, as I flew back after my first semester as a freshman back in 2005. Not only do I love how this photo came out but it makes me happy just to look at it.
Both my parents were born in Chile and so that’s a big part of who I am. This is a picture of Viña Del Mar, about 30 minutes away from where my parents grew up, Santiago. I would love to retire here.
When I was younger Amelia Earhart was my hero. I thought she was beyond cool. She also represents the power of determination and taught me that women can do anything. She was the first woman I really admired but definitely not the last. Women like Amelia, my mom, my grandmother, Hillary Clinton, and Oprah are an inspiration to me.
My love affair with books began when I read this book. Literature is my first love and I have Roald Dahl to thank for that.
Photography is my latest passion. I always carry my camera around just in case I stumble upon something worth photographing. Also, this photo was taken when I was in London, my most favorite city ever. It’s my goal to go live there soon and “mind the gap.”
And finally these are my 4 female cousins. I grew up with the cousins from my mom’s side of the family and for eleven years I was the only girl in the family until my cousin, Maite, was born. Ever since then, girls keep popping out and I promised myself I’d be someone they could look up to and come to for advice, especially since I didn’t have a sister or an older female cousin to play that role for me. The faces they are making I proudly taught them 🙂
Love this site … so proud to have such a smart cuzzin!
